About

Velamentis Foundation is a US-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Founded in 2020 by current President Janah Risha, our mission is to help the people of Lebanon in times of distress with tangible, in-kind donations distributed by local partners on the ground. Velamentis strongly believes in action that directly and positively affects communities in need –action without the inefficiency of bureaucracy that often restricts large, global nonprofit groups.

Our multi-family team of Lebanese citizens knows from first-hand experience where and when help is needed the most; as such, we can utilize long-term connections and resources to organize the effective collection and distribution of food and other necessities most needed by the community.
